Where Faith Becomes Action
Serrans take their name from the 18th century Franciscan missionary Blessed
Junipero Serra, well known for beginning a string of California missions.
Like Father Serra in his time, the Serrans of today put faith into
action. Whether through meetings, vocational programs, or personal
involvement in school, parish and diocesan activities, Serrans accept the
challenge of finding and encouraging young men and women to become priests and
nuns.
The Serran mission is to foster and promote vocations to the priesthood and
religious life and to further Catholicism by encouraging our members, in
fellowship, through education, to fulfill their vocations to service. Serra is
a worldwide organization administered by
Serra International. The United States Serra Clubs are administered by the
US Council.
